The dark part of Thermoflare is hydrophilic (absorbs water), pulling water in and trapping it, enabling your body to heat it and creating a barrier of warm water. Since it holds the water in place, there is less water to re-warm. The lighter part of Thermoflare is a hydrophobic (repels water) hollow fiber, with a fleece-like feel against the skin and excellent insulating properties, adding even more warmth. It is also very fast-drying.

Thermoflare features multiple vents that release hot air and prevent air bubbles from forming. All Tilos products are manufactured from 100% pure neoprene made from an exclusive formula called X-Foam, which is made from limestone (not petroleum) neoprene.
